The unconventional Fermi superfluid such as the Fulde-Ferrell-Larkin-Ovchinnikov (FFLO) state has been sought for decades. Recent years, the realizations of diverse spin-orbit couplings in neutral atoms provide unique opportunities to search the FFLO state and beyond. Here we show two examples of possible unconventional Fermi superfluids in two spin-orbit coupled systems: one is the LO superfluid in a bilayer Fermi gas with laser-assisted pseudospin-momentum coupling; the other is an exotic vortex state with discrete rotational symmetry in a Fermi gas with spin-orbit-angular-momentum coupling.
