    一、活动站概述

    数学博士后科研活动站1999年核准设站,依靠数学一级学科博士学位授与点,有上海高校一流学科——数学、上海市重点学科——运筹学与节制论、上海市教委重点学科——数学迷信与手艺。在2008到2020年上海市高校成长定位打算中,上海大学数学学科被列为“国度级”一线学科和“扶强”重点成长学科。

    1.Introduction

    The Department of Mathematics at Shanghai University devotes itself to not only the development of Mathematical Science but also to its applications to the Society. The Department has programs (including all sub-fields of mathematics, i.e., Pure Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Computational Mathematics, Operations Research and Cybernetics, Probability and Statistics) for both undergraduate and graduate students. The Department began its post-doctoral programs authorized by the Ministry of Education of China in the year of 1999. The Department of Mathematics is now the home of 118 well-qualified staff, among them 100 are full-time faculty members including 26 professors, 25 doctoral supervisors, 35 associate professors, 1 academician, 2 scholars of National 1000-Talent Program, 2 scholars of Shanghai 1000-Talent program, 1 Scholar of Chang Jiang Program, 1 scholar awarded by National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, 1 scholar of the Hundred Talents Program of Chinese Academy of Sciences, 1 scholar of Shanghai Leading-Talent program, 1 scholar of the Dawn Program of Shanghai Education Commission, 4 scholars of Shanghai Pujiang Talent Program, 3 scholars of Shanghai Oriental Program. 100% of doctoral staff are under the age of 45, 95% of overseas graduates or staff have overseas experience. It has over 500 undergraduates, 200 graduates, and 60 PhD students. The Department of Mathematics consists of one first-level doctoral program in mathematics, one postdoctoral research station in mathematics, two first-level graduate programs in mathematics and statistics; and Shanghai municipal education commission key disciplines, Shanghai key disciplines, Shanghai first-class discipline, Shanghai plateau discipline. In addition, it has also Shanghai Institute of Applied Mathematics and Systems Science, Institute of Core Mathematical Research of Shanghai University, Shanghai University Open Laboratory for Operations Research and Optimization, Institute of Mathematics and Coding & Cryptography of Shanghai University, International Research Center for Tensor and Matrix Theory of Shanghai University, Institute of Systems Science of Shanghai University. Shanghai youth talent training base -- the work station of Shanghai University on mathematics practice -- is a pioneer for the mathematics workstation across the nation.

    In 2018, SHU was ranked at the 98thin the USNEWS World’s Best University Mathematics Ranking. According to the latest data from the US ESI database, there are 252 mathematical research institutions that are recognized as the world’s top 1%, Shanghai University ranks 121st, among the top 4.8‰ in the world.

    Since the approval of the post-doctoral program, the Department has hosted more than 50 post-doctors, many of them succeeded in applying China Post-doctoral Science Foundations or other research grants,and have made good achievements in scientific research.

    一、活动站概述

    上海大学物理学科博士后活动站增设于2012年,依靠单元为上海大学理学院物理系。上海大学物理系原为建立于1958年的上海科技大学物理系。物理学科是一级博士和硕士授与点,今朝包含光学、无线电物理、凝集态物理和实际物理四个二级学科。作为我校“211”扶植的重点学科之一,颠末上海市重点扶植学科“信息物理”,“无线电物理”和上海市“物理学高原学科”的扶植,物理学科在师资步队、迷信研讨和人材培育方面取得了长足成长,是上海大学最早进入ESI收录的学科之一。

    1. Introduction

    The postdoctoral program in physics at Shanghai University (SHU) was founded in 2012, which is based on the Department of Physics, SHU. Four subjects in physics disciplines are opened at present: Optics, Radio Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Theoretical Physics.Physics discipline was one of earliest disciplines in SHU entering the ESI ranking system. Physics Discipline had been recognized as and supported by Shanghai Key discipline, including Information Physics key discipline (2006~2009); Radio Physics key discipline (2010~2012), and the discipline was continuously supported by Shanghai plateau discipline (2015~2017).

    At present, there are more than 110 staff members getting together around physics discipline, including 30 full professors, 50 associate professors and more than 30 lecturers. Among them, one Chinese academician, one Australian academician, two“100 talents”, and more than ten Extern scholars. In the past five years, more than 60 Ph.D students were graduated from the discipline, and five graduates were awarded the excellent doctoral thesis of Shanghai.

    Physics discipline has very extensive international communications, we have built up solid relationship with top universities around world, including Caltech in US, Cambridge in UK, Max Plank institute in Germany. We also established a broad collaborations in both domestic universities, top universities in Asia and around the world. We published more than 100 papers in high quality international journals very years.

    一、活动站概述

    上海大学物理学科博士后活动站增设于2012年,依靠单元为上海大学理学院物理系。上海大学物理系原为建立于1958年的上海科技大学物理系。物理学科是一级博士和硕士授与点,今朝包含光学、无线电物理、凝集态物理和实际物理四个二级学科。作为我校“211”扶植的重点学科之一,颠末上海市重点扶植学科“信息物理”,“无线电物理”和上海市“物理学高原学科”的扶植,物理学科在师资步队、迷信研讨和人材培育方面取得了长足成长,是上海大学最早进入ESI收录的学科之一。

    1. Introduction

    The postdoctoral program in physics at Shanghai University (SHU) was founded in 2012, which is based on the Department of Physics, SHU. Four subjects in physics disciplines are opened at present: Optics, Radio Physics, Condensed Matter Physics, and Theoretical Physics.Physics discipline was one of earliest disciplines in SHU entering the ESI ranking system. Physics Discipline had been recognized as and supported by Shanghai Key discipline, including Information Physics key discipline (2006~2009); Radio Physics key discipline (2010~2012), and the discipline was continuously supported by Shanghai plateau discipline (2015~2017).

    At present, there are more than 110 staff members getting together around physics discipline, including 30 full professors, 50 associate professors and more than 30 lecturers. Among them, one Chinese academician, one Australian academician, two“100 talents”, and more than ten Extern scholars. In the past five years, more than 60 Ph.D students were graduated from the discipline, and five graduates were awarded the excellent doctoral thesis of Shanghai.

    Physics discipline has very extensive international communications, we have built up solid relationship with top universities around world, including Caltech in US, Cambridge in UK, Max Plank institute in Germany. We also established a broad collaborations in both domestic universities, top universities in Asia and around the world. We published more than 100 papers in high quality international journals very years.
